Support Social-Emotional Learning with AccuTrain’s On-Site Training Solutions

Overview

Addressing the social-emotional needs of students to advance their learning and development has never been more important. Educators, parents and physicians are seeing an increase in mental health concerns from children — a direct result of the disruption and isolation caused by the pandemic. Social-emotional learning (SEL) supports student success in school and in life by encouraging healthy relationships and by boosting their emotional well-being and decision-making.

CASEL defines SEL as the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. The CASEL 5 areas of competence include: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making.

AccuTrain’s curriculum of on-site training solutions provides educators with the knowledge and skills to support the development of the CASEL competencies and helps:

  • Foster positive, caring relationships among students and teachers
  • Create a learning environment where everyone feels respected and engaged
  • Empower students to take ownership of their actions and success
  • Promote positive academic outcomes.
