ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW

In this course on reaching Level 2 and 3 students, participants will learn how to apply RCD practices to support higher-intensity students. It explores strategies to build internalized control by coaching students through the heuristic thinking process, helping them develop problem-solving skills. This course also covers the application of the Give ‘Em Five approach specifically for Level 2 and 3 students who push back. Participants will learn how to identify and address common behavior patterns and the six exits students use to avoid responsibility. They will discover techniques like attunement to support students struggling emotionally and how to create Individual Student Targeting Plans for those needing deeper guidance. With practical strategies on navigating challenging interactions, this course will help equip educators to support even the most high-intensity students, ensuring their growth and success in the classroom.
