The founder of SistaKeeper Empowerment Center,(I Define ME Movement) an international nonprofit organization for girls serving local schools and various states across the US with international presence. The creator of the Own Your Now Show, a wellness show to inspire, uplift and empower women to keep your cups full! A true faith walker.

She was born in STL, MO. a University of MO, STL graduate, were she received her Masters of Education. The product of teen mom, at 15 her mother poured into her the value of knowing you must break the cycle. She encountered bullying growing up, moving to various schools allowed her to see the value of being true to self! Through her own self-reflections she was given a journal, fell in love with poetry! Through writing she found a space to be authentic, transparent and resilient! She found her safe space and as she grew up, she realized these tools could empower others! Over 20 years ago she birthed her a movement to empower and mentor girls through her poetry books and SistaKeeper Circles.

Tracie is author of several poetry books and curricula for girls 8-18, facilitated all over the US. Reaching well over thousands of women & girls through her motivational speaking. She is sought after for college summits, girl assemblies, keynotes, professional development and wellness retreats. Her focus is on girl and women empowerment, mental health awareness, restorative justice, character education and increasing literacy skills.

Tracie has served as host, presenter, panelist, keynote speaker at several distinguished events including University of Missouri Saint Louis annual Empowering Young Women’s Conference and the YWCA’s Leadership Summit. She is a consultant for Girl Scouts, Juvenile Justice, YWCA, Saint Louis Area schools, Parkway School District, and Hazelwood School District,.

She serves as a MLK Nonviolence 365 Ambassador. She was named a Delux Power STL 100, Professional Organization of Women of Distinction, Education Girls Rock, Nat’l Council of Negro Women Legacy Award, the St. Louis, Missouri Hometown Champion at the 46th Annual NAACP Image Award, Member of ST. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
