Alabama educators will learn about the nine ethical standards, recognize examples of ethical and unethical conduct, understand reporting obligations and come to understand the disciplinary consequences associated with ethical violations.

This course covers:

• Understanding and applying the nine established ethical standards to professional situations
• Distinguishing between ethical and unethical conduct
• Knowing when, how, and to whom ethical violations should be reported
• Recognizing the potential consequences, sanctions or disciplinary actions resulting from ethical violations
