
“Students have the best chance of succeeding when the district pays attention to the stress they face 24 hours a day, not just the six or so hours they are in school” — including homelessness. Keynoter Dr. Tiffany Anderson recruited help from the community to offer a creative and stable housing alternative for vulnerable students and families in need.
Known as a transformative Kansas Superintendent, Dr. Anderson was recently named USA Today Woman of the Year. She will deliver the closing session entitled Innovation in Action: Moving from Trauma Informed to Trauma Equipped at the School Climate & Culture Forum in Las Vegas in July.
